We have established three categories of goals
concerning children, youth, adults, and talents of all ages.
- Our children categories include the followings:
Singing,
Haitian Traditional dance, painting, Drumming classes, languages classes such as
the Haitian Creole and French and field trip.
- Our youth categories goals include the
followings:
Teaching public speaking skills, behavior in the family and in
the society, civic engagement, Technical school resources, Haitian Traditional
Dance, Drumming classes, a crochet, embroidery and providing education and
library resources, and field trip.
- Our adult category goals include the followings:
Social
services, translation, lectures and documentations about Haitian culture, family
wellness class, Employment resources and basic Haitian culture classes are
taught to the Broader and the Adoptee parents. We also keep the Community update
of any Neighborhood activities or any official decision in the city of
Portland.
- Basic Haitian culture information is available to the
public. And all services and classes are open to the public as
well.
- Our biggest Annual event is the “Haitian-Caribbean Festival,
where we share our culture with Haitian-Caribbean spicy food, music, arts and
more.
